His Excellency Shri P. Kumaran, High Commissioner of India warmly greeted Pujya Ishwarcharan Swami and personally ushered the delegation to the meeting hall for an enlightening discussion on Indian culture, values and harmony.

As 2022 is a celebration of India’s Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and also Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s Shatabdi Mahotsav, His Excellency was briefed about the year-long events undertaken by BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha in various countries around the world and the grand festival which will be held at the end of the year in Ahmedabad, India. He was also informed about the BAPS humanitarian work conducted during the Ukraine crises.

Pujya Ishwarcharan Swami also invited His Excellency to the ‘Festival of Inspiration’ which will be held at Little India, Singapore, on 19 November 2022. This one-day cultural festival is dedicated to inspire individuals, families, and the community at large to build stronger relationships which will create peace and harmony in society.

BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha, Singapore, organized a special assembly at the Singapore Hokkien Huay Kuan Cultural Centre in the presence of Pujya Ishwarcharandas Swami to mark the centenary of His Holiness Pramukh Swami Maharaj.

The assembly featured speeches by Divyamurti Swami and Munivatsal Swami on the life, works and wisdom of Pramukh Swami Maharaj, and inspiring video presentations.

Pujya Ishwarcharan Swami welcomed and honoured leaders and representatives of the various Indian community organizations of Singapore and Malaysia. He then addressed the assembly, speaking about the importance of family peace and harmony and the means to achieve it based on the principles revealed by Pramukh Swami Maharaj. On behalf of His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj, he invited all the devotees and guests of Singapore to visit the grand Pramukh Swami Maharaj Centenary Celebrations to be held in Ahmedabad at the end of the year.
